Sarah’s first major role in the Australian feature film “Stone Bros.”, saw her gain nominations for Best Actress and Best Young Actor in the IFA’s (Inside Film Awards) and the AFI Awards (Australian Film Institute) respectively after its 2009 release. In 2010 she was also nominated for a People’s Choice Award in the IFA’s.

Before shooting “Stone Bros.” she was kept busy in Perth shooting commercials, (incl. Taubmans National Campaign), short films, (incl. Exit Strategy which premiered on November 15, 2006 at Cinema Paradiso), performing in several theatrical pieces (incl. two consecutive pieces for Blak Yak Theatre Group) and had a guest appearance on the Australian TV series, “The Sleepover Club”. 

Since then she has moved to Melbourne and a couple of her more notable roles were in Nicholas Cage’s feature film “The Knowing” (2009 release), and the new Australian TV series, “Offspring”.

Sarah has trained with renowned voice over artist James Hagan (Speech and Drama Coach at NIDA – National Institute of Dramatic Art), and is now proficient in standard American Accents, and Upper and Lower Class English accents.  She can also execute a New Zealand accent (should one ever be required).

PRESENTING BIO

Sarah first got a taste for presenting in 2006 when she stood out in the live audition and gained the position of Sports & Weather Reporter on a breakfast TV show called “Wake Up Perth”.  She soon moved up in the ranks, adding the title of Co-Host to her credit and presenting over 100 shows live to air.

In 2007 Sarah was named in the top four out of over 2,000 Australian hopefuls in MTV’S search for an international VJ.  She was flown to Sydney to compete in a series of challenges navigated by Jackass star Bam Margera, which was made into a reality TV show called “Viva La VJ”.  Shortly after this whirlwind experience she made the move from Perth to Melbourne and immediately started getting gigs. 

She has interviewed international celebrities such as model Megan Gale, American DJ Static Revenger and Australian celebrities such as The Footy Show’s Garry Lyon, Postcard’s Suzie Wilks, Project Runway Series Two winner Anthony Capon, Channel 9’s Brodie Harper and many more.

After a job well done at the Asthma Foundation’s Bubble Ball in 2009, she was asked back to co-host in 2010 to a room of over 400 people.  Since their inception, these Bubble Balls’ have managed to fundraise over $200,000 for Variety - The Children’s Charity.

With a top secret Pilot for a Kids TV Show freshly shot and currently in negotiations with major networks, Sarah is excited about what the future will hold and is hungry for her next encounter.
